Over this weekend I read Royalty
in Disguise, an amazing book! This book is a debut story by a
homeschooled friend of mine. Camille weaves a page-turning story set in
medieval times, complete with jousting, sword fights, and secret
passages. The story follows a royal family through their adventures with
a neighboring kingdom, in which the youngest princess, Diantha,
disguises herself for about a year. Camille also has an interesting
twist in that the story continues past the climactic scene and follows
the not-as-dramatic twists of their life after peace is instilled
between Cynanch and Skezatia. I heartily recommend this book to all
adventure-lovers and even to romantics, for they will fall in love with
the characters. This is not a romance novel, but there are some
delightful relationships between characters that come to a nice finish
at the end.
