This book is about Raold Dahl(author of charlie and the chocolate factory) life during World War II.
Raold was a pilot in many places during the war. It was a very trying time for Raold. He was majorly injured and stayed in a hospital in Africa for a very long time. Once he left the hospital, he had to catch up with his fleet. His fleet was based in Greece and the were the only fleet there. Around 15 aircrafts and 15 pilots. It was a very dangerous time.
This book is really interesting. Raold wrote about a very interesting time in his life. I really enjoyed this book.
