Treasure Island

By Robert Louis Stevenson

Jim Hawkins is a young boy who lives with his parents in the time of Pirates, and treasure maps and Pirate Treasure. Cap'n Flint's treasure is said to be the greatest, but no one know where to find it, or where the treasure map is.

Jim's parents run an inn near the sea, and one night an old sea captain comes to the inn. He doesn't leave for months, in fact he never leaves. The old captain dies at the inn. Young Jim looks through a chest and finds a treasure map, Cap'n Flint's treasure map.

Jim then sets off with many friends and enemies and the in-between. Jim travels the wide ocean with pirates, searching for Treasure Island! Along the way he meets the hero-and-villain-in-one, Long John Silver.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a difficult read, but a fantastic story. The characters seem to jump out of the page and act the story out in front of your eyes. It truly is a fantastic book.
