A Christmas Carol

Written by Charles Dickens

Old Scrooge, a mean old man who hates Christmas, will be visited by four spirits. First it will be the ghost of a died friend, Marley's Ghost. Then he will be visited by The Ghost of Christmas Past, and Scrooge will see some of his past Christmases. Then it will be The Ghost of Christmas Present, and Scrooge will see his own assistant trying to make the best of a hard time. Then The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come will haunt him. With this ghost, Scrooge will see only death.

This book is a lovable classic. It has been told since Dickens wrote it. Every Christmas Dickens would read it to a crowd.

I find that this was one of Dickens harder reads, but that may just be me. I am currently reading Oliver Twist and find it a little easier to read then A Christmas Carol. But nonetheless this is an amazing book.
