Maria Merryweather is a young
girl who just lost her father. She and her governess must travel to the
country to live with Maria's only living relative, Sir Benjamin of
Moonacre.
Maria soon realizes that her new home has
many secrets. Maria tries desperately to entangle the mysteries that lie
on Moonacre Manor. Marie meets many friends that will help her along
the way.
Loveday, a middle aged women with a sad past.
Robin, a young boy who wasn't supposed to exist. And many others.
This
book was thoroughly entertaining. It is an easy read and would be
perfect for the age range 10-13. Older than that it is a little cheesy
at times but still a really good book.
There was nothing immoral about this book. It is a sweet, innocent story.
